Mecatron’s Current Focus
Our long-term goal is to develop robust Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) / Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) for underwater sample collection, potentially combating marine debris or studying corals and rocks unique to Southeast Asia waters.
This is in line with the UN’s Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDG), specifically SDG 6: Clean Water & Sanitation, and SDG 14: Life Below Water.
